This course is an introduction to clinical chemistry laboratory techniques and procedures, laboratory safety and application of statistical procedures in quality control. Here we will cover the analytic techniques and instrumentation of the clinical chemistry laboratory including spectrophotometry, electrophoresis, electrochemistry, immunoassays, and nucleic acid probe techniques. Also introduce the assessment of organ system functions like renal, cardiac, and liver function.
