This course covers the fundamentals of spray equipment, spray materials, surface preparation and application. Special emphasis is laid on refinishing materials, refinishing equipment, surface preparation for spot repair, panel repair and overall refinishing using lacquer, enamel or acrylic finishes.

The student will also be expected to appreciate color and be conversant with primary, secondary and tertiary colors. There will two projects which entail primer coat, solid coat, base coat clear coat, pearls and the student/group custom worm
