Financial markets (such as those that trade stocks or bonds), instruments (from bank CDs to futures and derivatives), and institutions (from banks to insurance companies to mutual funds and pension funds) provide opportunities for investors to specialize in particular markets or services, diversify risks, or both.
This course sees to deepen students' understanding of these markets and the institutions at the center of market operations.

 

This an introductory course in accounting that introduces students to the basic concepts of accounting. The students will be introduced to record keeping, journalizing of transactions, maintainance of ledger accounts, and preparation of final accounts. Correction of errors and adjustment will also be learned.
