The course CLSC 362 is a course taught to Medical Laboratory Sciences students in their 3rd year of study.  It comprises of topics in Medical Entomology and covers medically important vectors of parasites.  The vectors cover the cyclops, ticks, mites, bedbugs, cockroaches, mosquitoes, and other dipteran flies.  The Dipteran flies also comprise of the sandflies, tsetseflies, blackflies, horseflies, latrineflies, and myiaisis-caiusing flies.  The distribution, life cycle, transmission, biology, medical importance, prevention and control of these will be studied in detail.  The students will also be exposed to laboratory identification of these flies.  The features that different flies in the same order will be outlined.
