Dear students, this course introduces you to the needs and functions of research in Education. Emphasis is placed on practical applications of the basic research techniques such as the selection of the topic, identifying and stating the existing problem, developing research questions and hypotheses and reviewing of literature.Research designs such as experimental research, historical research, and descriptive research are  also done. the course also introduces you to the utilization of research resources in research proposal writing and description of various methods of data collection and analysis as well as writing of research reports.
