This course introduces the philosophy and conceptual framework of our nursing department and to nursing roles and functions. It includes nursing history, trends, legalities and ethics essential to nursing behavior. Critical thinking skills are applied in the nursing process and learning of basic skills to provide wholistic care to clients and families.
