This is an online course that is designed to introduce students to the procedures and designs used in psychological research and the critical evaluation of research. The course aims at teaching the art of: research planning, identifying research problem, techniques of making observations, data collection, and data analysis, objective reporting of findings, writing, sampling techniques, measurement types, hypothesis and statistical analysis. The course also discusses different techniques used to conduct systematic research such as Naturalistic observation, case study, correlation designs etc.
