This module builds upon those concepts and skills learned in Health assessment and Nursing Foundation. It also focuses on various ways on managing conditions that are chronic or acute illnesses. Focus is on beginning nursing interventions that promote optimum well being and restoration among medical and surgical adult patients. You will be guided in gaining a basic understanding of the Path physiologic processes of targeted diseases in order to effectively plan patient care. This course provides 3 hours of theory and 5 hours of practice in a general hospital setting.
